  1. 学科简介(Introduction)

化学工程与技术一级学科由化学工程、化学工艺、生物化工、应用化学和工业催化五个二级学科组成。化学工程是研究各种化工生产过程所共有的基本规律的学科;化学工艺是研究化工生产中工艺设计和操作优化的学科;生物化工是研究生物制品、生化药品等的制备原理和工艺技术的学科;应用化学是研究精细化学品、专用化学品、功能材料及器件等的制备原理和工艺技术的学科;工业催化是研究催化剂的设计与制备、催化反应动力学、催化剂失活机理及再生等的学科。

The master authorization first-level discipline of Chemical Engineering and Technology consists of five sub-disciplines, which are Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Biochemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry and Industrial Catalysis. Chemical Engineering is a discipline studying the common and basic laws of various chemical production processes; Chemical Technology focuses on the process design and operating optimization in chemical production; Biochemical Engineering investigates the preparing principle and process technology of biological and biochemical products; Applied Chemistry is a discipline studying the preparing principle and process technology of fine chemicals, specialty chemicals, functional materials and devices, etc.; Industrial Catalysis conducts research on the design and fabrication of catalysts, kinetics of catalytic reactions, as well as the deactivation mechanism and regeneration of catalysts.

现有专任教师68人,教授15人,副教授(高工)38人,博士63人,留学回国人员(1年以上)35人,专任教师中高职比例78%,博士比例93%,海归比例51%。拥有博士生导师3人,硕士生导师53人,江苏省“青蓝工程”科技创新团队1,江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人和青年骨干教师各4人,江苏省“六大人才高峰”资助对象4人,江苏省“333工程”第三层次培养对象3人,已形成一支结构合理的学科梯队。近五年,先后承担了国家自然科学基金项目27项,江苏省自然科学基金24项,国家“863”计划子项目、国家重点科技攻关子项目、江苏省科技支撑项目、江苏省高校自然科学基金、镇江市社会发展项目和企业委托项目等80余项,累计科研经费1500余万元。发表SCI 收录190篇,获得授权国家发明专利52件,转让或应用27件,正式出版教材和专著6部。

Currently, there are 68 full-time teachers, including 15 professors (22%), 38 associate professors (55.9%), 63 teachers with doctoral degree (93%), and 35 teachers with more than 1 year overseas experience (51%). We have 3 Ph. D. supervisor, 53 master tutors, 1 technology innovation team of “Qinglan Project” in Jiangsu Province, 4 academic leaders and 4 excellent-young-backbone teachers of “Qinglan Project” in Jiangsu Province, 4 cultivation object of "Six Talent Peaks Project" in Jiangsu Province, 3 third-level cultivation objects of "333 Project" in Jiangsu Province, forming an reasonable structured discipline echelon. In the past 5 years, we have successively gained financial support from Natural Science Foundation of China (27 projects), Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province (24 projects), sub-project of 863 program supported by Ministry of Science and Technology of China, sub-project of National Key Scientific and Technological Breakthrough Program, Scientific and Technological Project supported by Jiangsu Province, Natural Science Foundation for Universities in Jiangsu Province, Social Development and Enterprise Authorized Project in Zhenjiang City (>80 projects), etc. The research funding exceeds 15 million RMB in total. Great achievements have been obtained including 190 SCI indexed research papers, 52 authorized patents (27 transferred or applied), 6 officially published textbooks and monographs.

毕业生能胜任高等院校、科研院所和化工、轻工、生化、环保、制药、炼油、能源、冶金等行业及相关行业生产管理、工程设计、产品及技术研究开发、产品质检等工作及相关的科研、管理和教学工作。

The Master students in this discipline shall obtain the fundamental theories and practices in Chemical Engineering and Technology. The graduates shall be qualified for teaching, researching, industrial designing, production managing, product quality supervising, research and development works in universities, research institutes and enterprises, especially in the fields of chemical engineering, light industry, biochemistry, environment protection, pharmacy, oil refining, energy, metallurgy, etc.

材料化学

Materials Chemistry

着重开展金属有机骨架材料 (MOFs)、 磁电功能分子晶态材料、 纳米材料等功能导向新材料的分子设计、制备工艺、结构测定和谱学表征,并系统研究其负热膨胀性、铁电-介电性质、磁学、光学、电学、吸附及储氢、 催化等方面的性能,并探索功能导向新材料在化工、材料、环境、生物等领域的应用,如气体吸附与分离、工业催化、药物传输等。

This direction focuses on function-oriented new materials, including metal-organic framework materials (MOFs), magnetoelectric molecular crystalline materials, nanomaterials, etc. Molecular design, preparation technology, structure measurement, spectra characterization are conducted, together with the demonstration of different properties, such as negative thermal expansion, ferroelectric-dielectric, magnetic, optical, electrical, catalytic, adsorption and hydrogen storage properties. The potential applications of function-oriented new materials are explored in chemical engineering, material science, environment, biology and other arena.

Organic Synthesis and Fine Chemical Engineering

本方向将现代化学化工新的合成技术应用于精细化学品的研究领域,开展新型涂料、高分子乳液、粘合剂、表面活性剂、化工医药中间体等精细化工产品的绿色合成、工艺优化及应用,化工产品的性能分析测试与结构表征等研究。

This field focuses on applying new synthetic technologies of modern chemical and chemical engineering into fine chemical arena. Research on green synthesis, process optimization, and potential applications of fine chemical engineering products, such as new-type paintings, polymeric emulsion, binders, surfactants, medical and chemical intermediates, etc. are carried out. Performance analysis and structural characterization are also conducted for those chemical engineering products.

器件

New Energy Materials and Devices

本学科研究方向着重开展新能源材料,包括晶体硅材料、硫系化合物半导体材料、纳米材料、介电材料、膜材料、电解质材料、储能材料等的研究与开发,以及新型锂离子电池、固体氧化物燃料电池、太阳能电池、超级电容器和海水电池等新能源器件的组装及综合性能评价,并开展绿色替代能源在船舶和海洋工程装备中的应用。

This major emphasizes on research and exploitation of new energy materials, including crystalline silicon, chalcogenide semiconductors, nanomaterials, dielectric materials, film materials, electrolyte materials, energy storage materials, etc. New energy devices, such as lithium-ion batteries, solid oxide fuel cells, solar cells, supercapacitors, seawater batteries, etc. are assembled followed by integrated performance evaluation. Research on green alternative energy and its application in ship and ocean engineering equipment are carried out as well.

Environmental Chemical Engineering


本方向开展环境污染物的化学转化及分离工艺开发与应用研究。以水污染控制化学及控制工程研究为主,兼顾大气污染控制和固体废弃物的处理、处置及资源化研究。

This direction focuses on the development and application research for the chemical conversion and separation of environmental pollutants. The research emphasizes on water pollution control, and meanwhile, considers air pollution control and solid waste disposal & recycling.

生物化工

Biochemical Engineering


本学科研究方向以蚕、桑及相关微生物资源等为主要研究对象,着重开展蚕桑功能活性物质及药用真菌的开发利用研究,包括蚕桑资源高值化加工利用技术及设备、蚕蛹生物加工关键技术及功能产品研发、优质蛹虫草高效培养技术及其产业化开发、桑椹保鲜及深加工关键技术研究、蚕桑产品及食用昆虫中化学组分的快速检测方法研究、 蚕桑产品及食用昆虫质量安全风险评估等。

This direction takes silkworm, mulberry and their related microbial resources as research objects. Research on exploitation and utilization of sericultural function substances and medical fungi is carried out, including high-valued processing technology and device for sericultural resource, key processing technology and functional product development for silkworm pupa, culture techniques and industrialization exploitation for high quality worm grass, storage and deep processing techniques for mulberry, rapid detection of chemical components in sericulture product and edible insects, security risk assessment for the quality of sericultural product and edible insects, etc.

 学制两年,其中,课程学习时间一般为1年,学位论文形成时间一般为1年,在籍年限累计不超过3年(从入学至毕业),在校攻读时间最短不得少于2年。

The length of schooling is two years, in which the course learning time is generally one year, and the dissertation formation time is generally one year. The accumulated years are not more than three years (from enrollment to graduation), and the minimum time of study in the University is not less than two years.

 在校期间应修满28学分,其中学位课不少于19学分,非学位课不少于9学分。

The oversea graduate students are required to obtain 28 credits, including no less than 19 credits for degree courses, and no less than 9 credits for non-degree courses.

七、科研要求与学位论文(Scientific Research Requirements and Dissertation)

  1. 科研要求(Scientific Research Requirements)

 硕士留学生应按导师要求参加学术活动,同时鼓励发表学术研究论文。

The oversea graduate students shall attend the research activities according to the supervisor’s requirements. At the same time, the discipline encourages the publication of academic papers in related fields.

  1. 学位论文(Dissertation)

 论文可以是学术研究/技术报告,也可以是工程设计或案例分析报告。学位论文可以用英文或中文撰写,相应的提供中文或者英文摘要。

The thesis can be either academic research/technical report, or engineering design or case analysis report. The thesis should be written in either English or Chinese. For the former, the abstract should be written in Chinese; while for the latter, the abstract should be written in English.

八、学位授予(Degree Authorization)

 硕士留学生在申请论文答辩前应符合学分要求。论文答辩通过后授予硕士学位和毕业证书。

The oversea graduate students should meet the credit requirement before applying for the thesis defense. The Master’s degree and the graduation certificate shall be granted after the successful thesis defense.
