  1. 学科简介(Introduction)

 物理学科于2020年获得一级学科硕士学位授予权,目前有“光学工程”、“材料物理”、“无损检测”、“理论物理”四个二级学科硕士学位授权点。长期以来,本学科围绕光电工程技术、材料科学与工程技术、无损检测技术、非线性物理与冷原子物理等五个研究方向开展科学研究工作。

The Discipline of Physics obtained the certification to confer Master's degrees in the year of 2020. At present it has four sub-disciplines:  optical engineering, material physics, nondestructive examination, and theoretical physics. For a long time, this discipline has carried out scientific research in five research directions: optical engineering and technology, material science and engineering, nondestructive examination technology, nonlinear physics, and ultracold atomic physics.

 学科现有研究生导师12人,其中教授5人。五年来,承担国家自然科学基金、省基础研究计划等高水平研究项目二十余项,在国内同类学科中具有明显的特色和优势。建设了“先进光学实验室”,“新能源材料实验室”、“激光与信息光学实验室”、“计算材料学实验室”等学科实验室,拥有先进的教学、科研和开发设施平台。

At present, in this discipline, there are 12 supervisors including five professors. Over the past five years, it has undertaken more than 20 high-level research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and a provincial fundamental research plan, which has obvious characteristics and advantages in the same disciplines in China. It has built some discipline laboratories, such as advanced optics lab, new energy material lab, laser and information optics lab, and computational material lab, with advanced teaching, scientific research and development facilities and platforms.

  1. 培养目标(Program Objectives)

 本学科遵循教育和人才成长规律,注重研究生科学精神与人文素质的培养。所培养的硕士研究生应具有良好的职业道德和敬业精神,具有科学严谨和求真务实的学习态度和工作作风。培养学生掌握前沿物理学科以及相关交叉专业方向的基本物理概念、专业知识,提升解决问题能力与实验操作技能,训练研究生在光学工程、材料物理、量子理论等高端理论物理课题中解决实际问题的能力,使学生能结合与本学科有关的实际问题进行创新研究,具有较强的自主学习、创新意识和工程实践能力;具有可持续发展意识和自主学习、终身学习的意识和能力。学生毕业后能够胜任研究机构、高等院校和企事业部门有关方面的科研、工程技术及管理工作。

The discipline follows the law of education and talent growth, and focuses on the cultivation of a scientific spirit and humanistic quality. After graduation from the university, overseas students should have good professional ethics and professionalism, scientific, rigorous and pragmatic learning attitude and work style. The graduate students are educated to master the professional knowledge and fundamental physical concepts of frontier physics and related cross discipline fields, upgrading the problem solving skill and physical experiment operation techniques. The students are trained in solving practical problems in optical engineering, material physics, and advanced theoretical topics such as quantum theory. The students can carry out innovative research in combination with practical problems related to the discipline, and have a strong sense of independent learning, innovation and engineering practice. Moreover, students would have a sense of sustainable development, independent learning and lifelong learning. After graduation, students can be prepared for research, engineering development and management in research institutions, universities, companies and industrial departments.

、学制与学分(Schooling and Credits)

  1. 学制(School System

 学制两年,其中,课程学习时间一般为1年,学位论文形成时间一般为1年,在籍年限累计不超过3年(从入学至毕业),在校攻读时间最短不得少于1年。

The length of schooling is two years, in which the course learning time is generally one year, and the dissertation formation time is generally one year. The accumulated years are not more than three years (from enrollment to graduation), and the minimum time of study in the University is not less than one year.

  1. 学分(Credits

 在校期间应修满28学分,其中学位课不少于19学分,非学位课不少于9学分。

Overseas graduate students are required to obtain 28 credits, including no less than 19 credits for degree courses, and no less than 9 credits for non-degree courses.

七、科研要求与学位论文(Scientific Research Requirements and Dissertation)

  1. 科研要求(Scientific Research Requirements)

 硕士留学生应按导师要求参加学术活动,同时鼓励发表学术研究论文。

Overseas graduate students shall attend research activities according to the supervisor’s requirements. At the same time, the discipline encourages the publication of academic papers in related fields.

  1. 学位论文(Dissertation)

 论文可以是学术研究/技术报告,也可以是工程设计。学位论文可以用英文或中文撰写,相应的提供中文或者英文摘要。

The thesis can be either academic research/technical report, or engineering design. The thesis should be written in either English or Chinese. For the former, the abstract should be written in Chinese; while for the latter, the abstract should be written in English.



八、学位授予(Degree Authorization)

 硕士留学生在申请论文答辩前应符合学分要求。论文答辩通过后授予硕士学位和毕业证书。

Overseas graduate students should meet the credit requirement before applying for the thesis defense. The Master’s degree and the graduation certificate shall be granted after a successful thesis defense.
